Large volumes of public environmental data were available from a variety of sources. Manually collecting, processing, and analyzing this data was consequently time-consuming, prone to errors, and difficult to scale. In addition, regionally varying threshold values made it difficult to interpret the measurement results. Since data that had already been collected was not centrally archived, it was also nearly impossible to reliably track developments and identify trends at an early stage.
Our solution
HyPlus has developed a smart IT solution that automatically collects relevant environmental data from public databases, stores it centrally, and processes it further. An intuitive dashboard clearly displays all key information. Measurement points are geolocated on maps, allowing results to be visualized not only in tabular form but also spatially. A color-coded display of measurement values by region and respective threshold value facilitates monitoring and makes critical developments visible more quickly. By integrating historical data, changes can be analyzed over longer periods and trends can be evaluated in a well-founded manner.
The result
Automated data collection significantly reduces manual effort and saves both time and money. At the same time, the quality of the analysis improves because data is processed centrally, consistently, and in a traceable manner. The dashboard enables intuitive real-time monitoring and provides a reliable basis for quick decisions. Exceedances of threshold values are identified early on, allowing those responsible to react proactively rather than only becoming aware of critical developments after the fact.
