Our solution
When implementing the automation platform, our client chose Oracle Application Express (APEX). HyPlus Solutions has a highly skilled APEX team with extensive experience. Our client drew on this wealth of expertise, enabling the platform to be further developed in an optimal manner in collaboration with the client’s IT experts. Using APEX, a self-service portal was created through which end-customer orders are registered, validated, and ultimately fully automated. The existing ordering process was fully integrated into the self-service portal to optimize all components. In close collaboration with the end customers, the portal was customized to meet their specific needs. The development went through several stages. First, simple order forms were created, data was retrieved from external interfaces, and validation mechanisms were developed. Furthermore, approval processes were built in, automation scripts were created, and order orchestration was implemented.
The result
Our customer's new Security Suite for managing firewall rules has been very well received by end users. The commissioning process is simpler and faster for end customers, and internal processes have also been significantly accelerated. The attractiveness and importance of our customer as an IT partner has been further enhanced by the implementation. New features are continually being added to the portal and adapted to current customer requirements.
