At HyPlus, we take environmental protection seriously and are committed to socially responsible and equitable business practices. That is why we are dedicated to ESG responsibility as a company. We expressly support the European Union’s goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050. Even though EU reporting requirements do not yet apply to us, we are already acting proactively and transparently today.
Focus on certification
Our ESG strategy is based on a double materiality analysis in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). It combines a company's impact on the environment and society as well as the influence of sustainability issues on the business model. All our measures are based on the three classic pillars of ESG - environment, social and governance.
Environmental
: Taking Responsibility for Our Environment
Rethinking mobility: Avoiding domestic flights, subsidies for the Deutschlandticket (Germany ticket), JobRad (job bikes), electric cars in the fleet, own green electricity charging stations
Energy & CO₂: green electricity preferred, photovoltaic system at the Braunschweig site, CO₂ reduction according to SBTi guidelines
Making everyday life sustainable: recycled paper, regional organic products, central waste separation, water dispensers, ecological cleaning products, bee hotel in our garden
Actively protect the climate: Tree donations for service anniversaries ( Primaklima ); events with partners who focus on sustainability
